In an effort to force my procrastinating self onto a more regular blogging schedule, I’ve decided to try bi-weekly mani Monday posts. Or as I like to call it – Just Another Manic(ure) Monday… I probably just dated myself with that bit of pop culture reference but that’s the way I roll? Plus I think the title is pretty apt considering how many mani Monday posts are there on the interwebz. For those who haven’t heard the glory of The Bangles’ ‘Manic Monday’ – I have saved you the trouble of youtubing it yourself:
Moving on from that – let’s talk about my favorite go-to polish: Butter London’s ‘All Hail the Queen’. I picked this polish up in Vegas over the summer because Andrea posted her polish swatch and I fell in love with the colour.
This is such a beautiful neutral colour and I love that it matches pretty much anything I wear. I would call this colour kind of greige-ish – I think it’s professional and I don’t have to worry that people will notice my nails (in a bad way). This is probably going to be one of my “job interview” polishes because of how easy it is to wear.
I love the formula of this polish because it goes on so easily and the Butter London brush is amazing. As someone who has trouble colouring within the lines (so to speak) – I rarely have issues with Butter London polishes. I normally do three coats because I like to do really thin coats of polish but two average coats would work for this polish.
I find that this polish will last with minimal chipping and tip wear for about a week, which great for when I am feeling lazy about changing my polish! So if you’re in the market for an awesome neutral colour – check out ‘All Hail the Queen’.
So What Would Argenplath Pay?
I paid $14USD for this but most Canadian stores sell it for $17+tax. I normally get my Butter London polishes either from Nail Polish Canada online or in Edmonton at Lux Beauty Boutique. I have seen it at The Bay but if I can shop local and get it from Lux Beauty, I would much rather do that.
Butter London is relatively expensive for nail polish but I think it’s definitely worth it. There is nothing I dislike about Butter London so far and this colour is such a staple in my polish collection that I would definitely buy it again.

Love the title for the series. And the polish is pretty too. 🙂

The 80s music spiral is awesome… I spent a lot of time there when I wrote this post. Nothing like a good “see also” reference. 🙂
